Mobile Talents –seminar attracted a wide interest

Finland Relocation Services organised a Mobile Talents seminar at the Savoy hotel in Helsinki in May 2011, with the theme "success factors of internationality".  The breakfast even attracted interest, and pulled the meeting facilities full of representatives of international organisations to hear topical specialist presentations and different viewpoints on international mobility.

Ritva Viljanen, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of the Interior, outlined the background and future outlook of the need for work-related immigration.  The corporate standpoint was illuminated by Outi Taivainen, Managing Director at HR House. She emphasised, for instance, the need to consolidate competence management and international mobility. Recipes for smooth adaptation of a foreign employee coming to Finland were offered by Marjo Lautjärvi and coach Marjut Nieminen of Finland Relocation Services Oy.

The event was enthusiastically received, and the series of morning seminars will be continued in the autumn with new themes.
